GALAXIANS @ RECON FESTIVAL // OCTOBER 2015
Galaxians are included in the first wave of acts announced for Recon festival in October, at multiple venues across Leeds and Bradford. The festival pioneers music, art, film and technology in West Yorkshire and runs from 15 – 18 October 2015. Those who witnessed Golden Teacher’s set at the Brudenell Social Club last year will testify to their power as a live dance act, and to their ability to create a hypnotic fervour with their often-improvised, highly immersive dance ritual. Simply put, they are one of the best live acts you will ever see.
GT’s music is the result of a collaboration between members of Glasgow acts Ultimate Thrush and Silk Cut. Their two EPs on Optimo Music show their approach to music as an organic, instinctive, collective workout.
